Who are we?

Jennifer Rashleigh, former restauranteur and pastry chef of Citron, along with her husband Jeff Brown, also hailing from the food industry, have come together to explore the sweeter side of their profession - Chocolate.

What are we about?

Delight is an exciting new small business dedicated to offering our customers an exclusive treat. Our style combines whimsy and decadence along with a creative attention to detail, not to mention a flair for the finest tastes and textures. Our fabulous chocolate is coupled with the decision to support a sustainable form of agriculture as well as the farmers who manage it; yum yum!

Our Commitment!

*Handmade - Every aspect of our production is a hands on process. Whether it is in the making of the chocolates themselves or in the luxurious packaging we believe in spoiling our customers with our ‘personal touch’.

*Fair Trade - We are a certified Fair Trade business using as many fair trade ingredients as are available to us including chocolate, sugar, coffee and tea. We feel that this is a choice that will not only make us feel good about our product but will add to the overall enjoyment for our customers as well.

*Organic - Every last ingredient that Delight uses in its delicious treats has been certified organic. We believe that this is an important step along the road to a more sustainable lifestyle that we can all enjoy! We are also certain that you will taste the difference ‘organic’ makes.

We also exclusively use Harmony Organic Dairy products for our cream centred ganaches in our chocolates, ice cream, hot chocolate, brownies and all our other treats requiring dairy.

We are proud to use Alternative Grounds Organic Fair Trade coffee and espresso both in our chocolates, lattes and brewed coffee as well as fresh retail half pound packages available for take away. www.alternativegrounds.com

The wheat for our baked goods comes from Merryland Organics, stone ground per order in Lakefield Ontario. www.merrylynd.com

Our Ice wine for our Ice Wine Chocolates and Wine for our Cab Franc Chocolate Sauce comes from Frog Pond Farm, the Only Certified Organic winery in Ontario. www.frogpondfarm.ca

We use organic honey from Bee Queen in Tamworth Ontario beequeen.ca and organic vanilla and tea from Whole World Trading in Toronto.

We also use biodegradable, environmentally sustainable packaging from Green Shift, located in Toronto, Ontario. greenshift.ca
